Guys, you ever see these $10 – $20 “tactical” flashlights at a sporting good’s store or on Amazon and wondered if they are worth it. Here is the short answer, yes. But, watch for yourself and read the rest of this.
First of all, let’s be clear. The Streamlight is much better and brighter. The question is are these cheap lights worth anything.
Now one thing I will tell you is – when you go OUTSIDE at night – is when the $100 light kicks the $10-$20 light’s ass. Outside the Streamlight goes a long way. The Streamlight shines some great light at football field type distances. The cheap light has NO capacity at far distances. But, these cheap lights are not bad for the price. They do light up rooms! The cheap light would be useful if your power went out and you needed to get around.
