  1. I've always ran Streamlights and have almost a dozen on different firearms, even EDC a mini with a hat clip. I've never had a problem with any of them except the mini (mainly because I removed the rubber switch cover for easier access to the switch). Great lights.
I just ordered the PL3 Valkyrie off the Black Friday deal, got a free I3 and cool looking box cutter knife for next to nothing by adding it to the deal.
Looking forward to seeing if they hold up. I hear good things about them… we'a see!

  2. I have a PL-3 coming. One thing the TRL has that the PL-3 doesn't, is you can change the battery door/switch on the TRL to use a remote tape switch. I may put my old TRL-1 on a rifle with the tape switch.

  3. The 1,300 lumen is a lie. The Olight will output 1,300 lumens if you use Olights proprietary battery and even then the 1,300 lumens will run for a minute then the output severely dives down.

  4. Olights are just deceiving specs on a box, they don't put out the candela they advertise and the lumins only last for around a min if that and then drop to around 400 lumins. They are no good, streamlight brand is the standard when it comes to budget and the bottom of the barrel for WML'S

  5. The PL3 does not have that run time. It’s been tested. And Olight regularly lies about their max output. The PL3 runs close to 1300 lumens for about a minute and then drops to 450 lumens. The PL3 isn’t worth the $50 being charged for Black Friday. It’s a pure trash light. Double click to get on high????? Lmfao!!!! Olight again showing that they’re not able to make a quality weapon light. But keep pushing this trash on your viewers and they’ll keep sending you free crap.

  6. I've been running surefire and streamlights since I can remember. My other friends, associates, people I know, who tend to be on the more budget perspectives of the firearms community, buy these often. They said they're good, for a quick solution. I've managed to get them to get better equipment, especially lights. I just kept seeing them , hearing about them, so I bought a few to see what the deal was. Ran them on shotguns, pistols from 22 lr to 10mm auto, and 45 acp, bolt guns from 22lr to 338 lapua , and semi auto rifles from 22lr to 50bmg. And I will honestly say…..budget is what they are. I get not everyone can afford everything. However, when it comes to your gear, equipment, support, etc etc, you NEED to spend the money. You will be relying on these items with your life. Don't set yourself up for failure.

  7. For $54 right now on sale, it's not a bad price. I seen other vids stating stay away from the PL-3
I almost pulled the trigger but I already own 2 TLR-HL's & the Valkyrie Mini in FDE for my G19X & TP9SFX.
Not falling for their Olight Fan Marketing plan.

  8. The pl1 is the only light from olight thats been reliable, I gave up on them, especially after they introduced tiers for customers. If you want that 54 dollar light…..goodluck, u will never get it

  9. Good comparison video. When you look back 20 years and consider what flashlight tech was like…..take a Mag light for example, compared to the small led lithium power lights today, huge improvements.
