Your scope is behind your charging handle
I got the bear creek arsenal 350 upper and put it on a PSA lower. Less than $500. Threw on a strike fire and boom. Great rifle on a budget. I also use my Rugged Obsidian 9 on it.

Their ripstock is probably the best patrol rifle stock I’ve found. It has a set screw in it so you can predetermine the length and when you pull on it it stops at that set spot. I know for my patrol car my stock has to be collapsed all the way to fit it in the gun rack so if I need to deploy it all I have to do is pull the stock out to its preset point where it stops vs having to mess around with it to get it to the right length like I would with other stocks.
Or in your case with hunting if it’s locked out at the preset position it won’t deploy any further if it gets stuck on something

I just use 556 with the right bullet, sometimes 300blk
