  1. I am new to the Digital.. I have an old Rollei Beta 3 and a grip for my old SLRS.. well this will not work with a Canon 2000d. Is there a way to use a flash pistol grip with the Canon 2000d? Or does it have to be mounted in the hot shoe? If in the hot shoe, what brands will work with the 2000d? I do not want to spend 300.00 for a flash.. thanks

  2. I have a question…can I use 2 different speedlites with my canon t7? Example…because I have a canon t7 I dont have a center pin. I'm looking for a trigger but it's hard to find one. I have a sunpak speedlight df4000u that works perfect but I also have a random speedlight which does not work if it's on my hot shoe. Will I be able to use my sunpak speedlight to connect to my random speedlight? I want to try to make it work b4 purchasing something expensive.

  3. i have a canon eos rebel t6i and i purchased the ESDDI speedlite and it won’t connect to my camera. everytime i go to external flash function it says this menu cannot be displayed. incompatible flash or flash power is turned off and the flash is on with fresh batteries and the flash works. i’m also in manual mode like the tutorial says. help please!

  4. I am using Canon 700D with a Nissin Di600 but when I am on the "external flash func. settings" I can only see "ETTL" and not click on it. Then I have "first curtain sync" below. Do you know why it's not working?

  5. Hi

I have a Conon ESO 200 DSLR, and I am looking to contact a Neewer TT560 Speedlite Flash to the Camera. I have attached the flash to the Hotshoe, and tightened it up. When I select the 'External Flash Function Setting, I am getting a message saying 'Menu not available. Flash is off or unsupported, or an accessory is attached'. I have checked this, and the flash is switched on.

Would this be a compatibility issue?

    Thanks

  6. Hello ! Thank you so much for this video.

I have a question. I have a canon 6d mark ii and I connect it to my external speedlight TL 600 with a cable sync and hotshoe.
Why is it not working on live view mode ?
I'm shooting food photography so it's really not convenient to shoot through the viewfinder…

    Thanks for your help !

  8. Hi. so i was watching the tutorial but when I go to menu, click on flash control, go to external flash fun. setting, it shows "menu not available. flash is off or unsupported, or an accessory is attached:, but my flash firing is enabled. what can I do to activate it?

  9. Hi can you please help? I've bought a TT560 Speedlite for my Canon EOS 4000D, but it doesn't want to sync with it, in the Flash control menu it says "Menu not available. Flash is off or unsupported, or an accessory is attached.". And I've tried in in multiple modes, aswell as tested the flash, but still not working. Thank you ahead!

  10. I am also trying to set up my TT560 Speedlite flash to my Cannon 3ti. When I get to setting the External Flash func. setting get the message This message can not be displaced, Incompatible flash or flash's power is off Both the camera and the flash in manual modes. Simply no firing.

  11. Izzy, I have a T6. I photograph in manual mode in monochrome and up to this point, I've been photographing a lot at night without a flash. I've been able to pull off some really good photos without the flash in low light situations. But now I'm thinking I need a good solid flash. I went on Amazon and did some research. I was able to find a flash with a video support and in the video was you. My question for you is a simple one because I photograph with a T6 do you think Neewer NW-670 TTL Flash Speedlite is an overkill. By the way, you have helped me in the past with the lens and thank you. Please advice. Thanks, Rod

  12. Hello I know I'm late but I'm using the Digital Concepts 319 AF flash and I try to go to flash control and it comes up with its not compatible or the flash is turned off and I'm really confused? The flash says it works with DSLR cameras and I've seen others use it with my canon rebel t7i and I was wondering if you knew a way to fix this or if I should invest in a different flash?

  13. Hello fellow camera operators. I have Canon EOS Rebel ZSI & EOS 7D Mark II. When I attach the Speedlight NW610 to hot shoot to either camera & into the flash control external flash func. setting. Both camera's tell me "This menu cannot be displayed. Incompatible flash or flash's power is turned off."

The power on the speed light is on & the speed light works without being synced to the camera. Can anyone give me any feed back as to why the speed light isn't syncing to my camera's.

    Thanks & best regards

    AJ Miller

  14. My external flash no longer syncs with my Canon Rebel xti and I can't figure out how to get it to work. The internal flash works just fine, but the 580EX II won't fire when I attach it to my camera. I have a Canon Rebel xti and the only settings under my camera menu on the first page are Quality, Red-Eye, Beep, and Shoot w/o card. I don't see any options for flash settings. Also, my external flash will turn on but it just won't register from the camera. The pilot light won't turn on, either. Interestingly enough it works with the strobe but I just can't get it to sync with my camera.. 🙁
