  1. The US should have gone with the FNC or Scar whe. They had a chance…we could all be arguing of a PSA FNC is as good as FN made…or the scar could be 1k as it should be instead of 3.5k

  2. It's America's Rifle to me. Your opening AR-15 looks similar to the 1965 made Colt AR-15 Sporter SP1 that I have. Mine does not have a bolt assist and it has a 1-in-12 twist. Mine also has the original 3-point flash suppressor, similar to the one in the video. I grew up with this gun. It was passed down to me when my father passed away.

  3. Lightweight and easy to maneuver, excess production so lots of availability and low prices, easy to modify to anything from a 7" fireball-maker for range memes to a 10.5" vehicle/home-def gun to a 20" 1000-yard plinker, .223 is high velocity with low penetration which makes it great for everything from sport shooting to home defense, and let's be real here: the cool-factor of using the same platform as the U.S. military.

It's not my all-time favorite rifle, but it's reliability and versatility make it something that every gun-owner should have at least one of.

  4. Love the cmmg bravo 22lr drop in conversation kit. 3 mags fun plinking and the accuracy is just fine. Slapped a rear magpul iron sight and using Kentucky windage I don't have to adjust my sights when it's zeroed for the 556.

  5. As a recent escapee from the peoples Republic New York I’ve bought my first gun (FN FiveseveN) I look forward to my first ‘AR’ rifle. On my list is to build a .300 and AR10 to go along with a 556. Some day the NFA will be held unconstitutional and I don’t need to pay for a silencer or SBR… till then will not pay that illegal tax.

  6. Love the ar platform. Tis gud. Thanks Clint. Win that culture war one battle at a time.
    Man I want an m16a4 clone…

Hey by the way, don’t comply. Your rifle is yours… do what you want with it. 😉 live free

  7. Why does the media call the AR-15 a "high power" or "high caliber" rifle? Typically chambered in 223 Remington, It's actually a low powered, 22 caliber rifle.
Can you name another common centerfire rifle cartridge smaller than 22 caliber (other than 204 Ruger)?
Can you name another common centerfire rifle cartridge less powerful than 223 Remington (other than 222 Remington, 22 Hornet, or 5.45x39mm)?

  8. I’ve gone down the rabbit hole and can’t choose. I’d love commenters input.

BCM Recce 16 vs. IWI Zion 15 vs. Sig M400… (I realize they aren’t neck in neck price wise, and I’m new and am not comfortable building) any other suggestions? I’m all ears
