Does the locking piece need to be swapped for a different angle like the MP5K needing the 80-degree LP for suppressor use or risk the roller bump frame damage?

Aside from unreliability how does the calico 9mm hold up against the other roller delayed guns? It's just such a cool concept but yeah the magazine isn't exactly reliable.

I have a UDP9, which is more of a traditional ar9. Angstadt Arms makes a quality product with tight tolerances, but they save money on small parts that you will be inclined to switch out. Customer service is good and will help you out if anything breaks. Despite the high price, this is a unique gun coming from a small company, so you've gotta pay the premium.

I'm okay with the design, just think the price point is optimistic, at best. For that point, I'm going with an SP5 for a few bucks more, or a B&T. I just don't see these holding their resale value OR presenting a unique enough proposition to be worth the cost…..I'm out. Sorry, Angstadt.

I like the channel, but this video was sort of worthless. Not even shooting with a brace on it. No test with suppressor. No comparison to other guns in terms of recoil. Just a generic "a pretty soft shooting gun" comment.
Top notch content as always. 1,400-2,600$ is steep when I can build an AR chambered in 9mm for 450$ or order the upper for under 300$ shipped while having all that comes with the platform.
I guess if your have money to spend on a pistol in beta development stage go for it.

Glock mags, bolt hold open, it seems agastd solved all the problems I have with the mp5 except price.
I don't know why. The gun is interesting, but why would I want a 9mm in that form factor? 10mm sure, but 9? Nope.

$2699 MSRP can get you a PTR-9 and accessories, an imported MP5 clone, a Scorpion and a ton of accessories, or a fully featured MPX. This is going to be a flop.
Looks like the rails and all the wear parts would be fairly easy to replace one they wear out which is nice if you plan to keep your weapons long term with high round counts .
