  1. when i think of DMR, i'm thinking of a magnification over a 3, but under maybe a 15. you start going out to 20 or 24 or something and thats just a sniper. and under a 3 you might as well be using a red dot with a flip up magnifier

  2. Opening scene… Ruger Precision Rifle. Love my Ruger Precision. It's chambered in 6mm Creedmoor. So accurate. The 6mm Creedmoor shoots so flat. Easy 1k yrd. shooter with a Vortex Viper HS-T 6-24x glass.

  3. My preferred DMR ish scope will have minimum 2X and maximum 10-12X. This allows wits at contact distance (with reasonable speed) to 600 yds; which is a realistic max range for 5.56.

  4. For field guns that are primarily shot offhand or field conditions (not bench or prepared bipod positions); since 1-8's have hit the market LPVOs have taken over my guns. (And for lower power the Burris RT-6 is a damn good buy)

  5. Future DMRs will run 1-10 or better while regular riflemen would be 1-6 until the time that marksmen will just have more specialized training but have the same glass and rifle as other riflemen.

  6. I would think a DMR should be able to top out at about 800 yds. That's my opinion. So you would have to put a rifle together that can reach to that distance or even a little farther. I not a military guy. I just believe to be effective you have to be able to shoot that distance.

  7. Clint, do a MK series!!!! How to build out different military AR style rifles (Mk12, Mk13, Mk18, etc.) It would get SOO many views and more importantly, the BOOGALOO would be that much more ready to F*$#!!!!

  8. 6mm arc, 16 inch barrel, 2.5 pound single stage trigger, 2-12 ffp moa grid reticle scope and bipod is my perfect dmr. Capable of going out to range, but also able to be used up close.

  9. I built an Aero Precision m5 with kak heavy 18" stainless barrel and I have a swampfox Arrowhead 1-10 and absolutely love it. I have only been able to get out to a little over 300 yards as of yet because not too many places where I live have any real distance but hoping to find somewhere soon would love to stretch her legs a little bit
