  1. The protac 1L-1AA is an awesome flashlight. It runs 350 lumens with the cr123 and 150 lumens with the AA battery. I use rechargable AA's and they will run on high for about 2 1/2 hours on high which is awesome. 6,400 candela with the cr123 on high and 2,700 candela with the AA on high

  2. Protac 2L-X is amazing. The non-USB version works with a button rechargeable 18650 battery. 500 lumens, can stand on its tail, tactical back button, the best bang for your buck (under $75). I have thought about going to a fancier Olight many times, but for half the price you get the perfect EDC light. The candela count (6800) is actually higher than many other lights with more lumens. Simple pre-set 2 modes 500 lumens/strobe and you can't go wrong for any real life situation or tactical use.

  3. Good video. I have had about a dozen Streamlight models and was intererested in your Macrostream comments. If the sequence of brightness levels put the low level first, I would buy one. My current favorites include the Microstream USB and the Protac 90 (the right angle light). It looks like you have a Protac 1L-1AA but you kept calling it the 1L. The Protac 1L is a shorter light which is powered by a CR123 and won't fit an AA battery. Have fun. Thanks for posting the video.
