  1. That trigger pull is nice, 2000$ is a bit much for such a small ar, but I want a 15-25 yard portable backpack ar, does it come with sight? Are those slots adjustment points on stock?

  2. Not having a dust cover might be a problem in that I picture this platform being used as a truck/bug-out/home defence gun, where it is mostly just sitting around in vehicles or the home collecting dust and other detritus. Having said that, I was trying to get a good still-frame when you were showing off the pistol, and from what I could see, it appears the BCG pretty much occluded the ejection port. Maybe, if an operator was concerned, a bit of masking tape with a piece of paper so it doesn’t stick to the BCG, but tears when the pistol fires would ’fix’ the problem.
I desperately need one in 300BO.

  3. If ammo cost wasnt a thing I think this platform shines brightest in the 5.7 configuration. Just rip rounds no problem with minimal recoil and potentially have a can on it. Would be tons of fun and practical at the same time for what it is

  4. You might as well be using a regular 22lr or a pistol caliber with a barrel that short in 5.56. Gross. I really hate the trend of having the smallest rifle possible at the cost of ballistics. My 12.5" with a 5" can can still clear rooms, stop being a baby. Lol.

  5. I hate people hating on short barrel 556 guns. Are they unaware people buy guns for fun? Some people have lots of guns, some for defense and some for fun. I don’t need every one of my guns to be for defense, I covered that. At this point I buy what looks fun. And shorty guns are fun.

  6. You had me when I saw the form factor and light recoil, but spit the hook when you mentioned the price. I don’t believe the CMMG will shoot any better or more reliable than the 1,000 dollar pistol build as seen on Demonstrated Concepts. Would love to a see a collaboration between THO and Demonstrated Concepts using a cheek hold AR pistol without the brace.

  7. I'd trust CMMG, before I would PSA… I'm not a happy customer with PSA and their quality nor with the total lack of service and customer support.

I had a 9mm bolt group that I wasn't happy with, that looked like someone used it for a hammer with metal marks chipped through the finish. I told them , I'd ordered a brand new one, but the one they sent me was used and was missing its firing pin spring … PSA had me send it back to them, and they sent it right back to me, the same one still missing the spring, and it had those metal chip marks in the metal all the way through the finish, so I sent it back again, and they sent it back the same one again, finally after it took me shipping it three times, they sent a different one with the firing pin spring… I never even mentioned that the Delta ring assembly they sent me that one of the two I'd ordered was for a 308! Then on top of that after I complained that the blemish uppers didn't have the numbered T Mark's, they said well you ordered them as blemish uppers, really being smart asses about it, when the uppers were advertised as having T Markings… I finally gave up on them, and said "Never Again to PSA!"

  8. I think I’d go for the 5.7 if someone made me take one. Too short for 556 and the 300BO is just disappointing compared to 7.62×39 which will do subsonic and 300 yd work with a mag change. Oh and can that brace be moved up or down on that mounting rail? Would be nice to drop it down and mount the red dot low for more intuitive pointing, especially since it’s a CQB gat. Keep up the good work 👍
