In this video, Eric takes a look at the FourSix in 4.6x30mm of course from our friends at @CMMG . Our example is a pre-production version, current models in the Banshee line feature redesigned receivers and rail systems, along with new furniture and parts in form but the function is exactly the same.

  1. We want a semiauto MP7 because they're iconic, not because of the round it shoots. Why anyone would want a civilian weapon specifically chambered in non-armor piercing 4.6 is beyond me…

  2. See this is why I like companies like cmmg, you get things like the ruger pc carbine which is a great rifle but ruger absolutely totally refuses to listen to people wanting them in different calibers (besides .40)

  3. I don’t see the point of this in the civilian market. It was intended to be a body armour defeating round, but intended to be used in a multi round burst. 5.7 might be interesting, but for the cost of the ammo, I don’t see this ever becoming commonplace. If you need ant to stop an uninvited guest at 2am creeping up the stairs then there are at least a dozen calibres I’d choose over this, especially considering over penetration though drywall.

  4. Another weird round that will be unavailable a couple of years from now. 458 socom, 50 Beowulf etc. If you will be able to find the ammo, shell out lots of money. No thanks

  5. Another cartridge another silly gun. Sounds like Tim selling us on the vanished 22-45 sharps. Do yourself a fave, just get a f#^&ing AR pistol in 5.56 and be done with it. 5.56 is easier to find. HK was never our friend anyways
