📒100% Honest, Real Reviews, Advice & Opinions📒
I would like to make it completely clear that like all the reviews and advice that I give on the #BestBinoculars Reviews video channel and website, this is my honest and completely genuine opinion and I am in no way compensated to describe a binocular in a particular way or with a bias.

In other words, if I think a binocular or a feature on it is great, I will say so. If I think it is rubbish or it is weak in certain areas, I will also point them out.

Before writing and publishing any binocular review, I thoroughly research, test, and use the instrument in my office as well as out in the field. I also conduct comprehensive comparisons between the binocular under review with a number of benchmark binoculars in both good and bad light conditions.

Whilst I make every effort not to, I do make the occasional error or am sometimes supplied with the wrong details. If you spot any mistakes, please feel free to contact me either in the comments section, via social media, or on my site, so that I can rectify it.

As always, I love getting feedback and your opinions. it is these that help me improve and continue to supply you with content, advice, and reviews that you actually want to watch.

  1. I recently bought the Vortex Diamondback 8×32 binoculars. We bought these for viewing mostly indoor live events. We like these but, my wife wants a binocular with an even wider linear field of view. The options seem very limited for this. I would appreciate any suggestions or opinions or experience that anyone can give on this type of binocular. Thanks.

  2. Small Porroprism Binoculars seem to be rare, but Pentax as a nice collection.. So I got the small UP 8*21, and I love it.. It is tiny, great image quality and looks totally cool 😀

  3. nice video, lots of information. I'm looking to purchase a compact binocular and i figured all start on you tube. I know very little about them. I eventually want to start getting back to wilderness. Thanks for the info. I have alot of research still to do. Glad i found your channel.

  4. Very informative and helpful. Well I ended up buying the Steiners, I was bird watching today and couldn't figure out why my $25 binoculars were not only blurry but fogging up! Now I know….Thanks!!

  5. Excellent video! Thank you very much! I especially enjoyed the technical explanations on cost and effect tradeoff. With online shopping, it is harder to compare binoculars for optical performance. Far too often the metric used for comparison tend to be price, dimension, weight, field of view, magnification. I really appreciate the fact that you have gone beyond those easy metrics and talked about the details so many overlook!

  6. I was trying to purchase the Steiner wildlife 8 x 24 binoculars, but B&H and multiple other places say that Steiner has stopped making that model now. What do you recommend in it's place. I occasionally wear glasses, so a decent eye relief is desirable. Thanks.

  7. It seems as if all the compact steiner bins are the same. I have a pair of steiner ultras harp 8×22 which look exactly the same as those wildlife 8×24. They are brilliant but have started to get blurry towards the edges, do you have any thoughts on why.

  8. looking for a pair of binoculars for bird watching / general wildlife. Would either the 10×26 vanquish or the 10×32 raptor be well suited, or would you recommend me going for a 10×42 sized pair instead ?

  9. Loving all your videos! I'm looking at getting some binoculars to use in my hammock at night to look at the sky. I've been using some cheap 8x21s and am looking to upgrading. Still cant decide. The world of binoculars is something I haven't really jumped into before. But I'm enjoying your vids and I'm sure they'll help me decide! Keep up the great vids!

  10. Thanks. I do wish that your desk was lighter in color, and that your background was less cluttered. It is hard for me to fully see the product in front of you. Maybe some additional “frontal lighting” would help.

  11. Great video. Depends on how much money we have. In most cases, with small binoculars we have a narrowed choice. I think Best to buy is a porro design, 8 or 7×25, and fully multy coated BAK4…allways! Others is waste of money.
