The Best AR-15 Pistol Grip: Ergo Grips

Hey sootch. Will one of those grips fit on a BCM lower receiver? Wanna be sure before I guy one.

I just got my Pachmyr ruber overmold grip and man is it nice. I didn't even know they made AR grips . I have a set of Pachmyr presentation grips on my Ruger Security Six . The AR overmold is awesome . Understated finger choils for fast purchase acquisition . thin profile like A2 . and only 19 bucks.

Suprised you didnt mention it. Or maybe you just got lucky, Sootch.
Advice: Take that plug out of the grip and toss it in a drawer, or the garbage. They dont stay in under recoil!

My LMT rifle came with an ERGO grip.
Most comfortable grip I ever felt, even though I have very large 2XL size hands.
No chance, I will ever replace it.
I, recently, found out, ERGO make a (Grip Xpress Nut Vertical Forward Rifle Grip) that is similar to the standard grip.
I, immediately, placed an order for one from Optics Planet to replace my BCM forward grip.
Look forward to getting it, as I know there isn't anything out there to match the comfort level !

The pistol grip is great! I will pass on any Maxwell grip.Just my opinion.If it works for you Go for it.

I just built a lower receiver with an Ergo grip.  I am on the fence if I like it.  The sides of the grip near the trigger need to be sanded down so it's more flush with the frame.  Something about it and my finger/thumb always brush up against it and it feels odd..  I have a Miad on my other Ar and love how it feels.  I have to shoot with this one just to be 100% sure but something is just off with it.

Which model is for smaller to medium sized hands?

You should try the CAA adjustable grip.

I just put Ergogrips on my build a couple of weeks ago. They came with a Spike's enhanced LPK. They are freakin wonderful! Everybody I have had put them in their hand has loved it. That pistol grip is DA BOMB!

Why does the ergo logo change sides or is it just me?

I've got an Ergo grip on my Radical Firearms pistol and It is the most comfortable I've experienced so far! This will be one of the top choices for my first AR build!

I did not really like the Ergo Grip. I prefer the Hogue on my Ar15s as well as 1911 pistols. What do you think about the Hogue grips?

LOOKS LIKE A HI-POINT GRIP LOLOLOL.

I have watched the reviews on these Ergo and Blackhawk grips and really think they look nice but, the bottom cap always looks cheap and seems to not close all the way… kind of sticks out on one end or the other. 

I'm a pretty indecisive person and it takes me a very long time to decide on anything.  As a child I would stand there for 10 minutes deciding which candy bar I was going to buy.  With that said, when I bought my AR-15 I absolutely hated the stock plastic grip on it and told the salesman that I need a different grip.  So he brought me over to them, had me grab a few, I kept going back and forth between them then he said something like "oh we also have these that I personally really like and put one on every one of my rifles" I grabbed a hold of it and just said "YES, I want this one"  Said it immediately.

That's a very rare thing for me, but they felt that good, there was no comparing several grips any longer, as soon as I held it I knew.  I grabbed another for about a second and just said YEP, I want the Ergogrip one for sure, it was night and day.  Probably the fastest I have ever selected anything in my life.  The person with me was even going WOW really? are you sure? lol, because they knew how I was.

Everyone who has shot my AR has commented on how nice they feel and from everyone who already owned an AR said, "Oh what are these, these are nice, I have to get me one".  A week later it's always "hey I bought one of those grips, man they are nice"

i agree 10000% ergo's are larger and feel so much better!

I prefer BCM's MOD 3 pistol grip over everything else.

Hey sootch what do you think of the ergo tactical delux grip for a carbine rifle?

I owned on. No doubt it is very ergonomic and comfortable, but it's too soft and then i turn to houge.

I only use Ergo Grips on my AR. Never even shot a standard A2 grip until I joined the Army!
