I’ve had two of the regular Streamlight Sidewinder flashlights, and I’ve liked them so much I just bought two of these in the video. I like all the features, but my favorite is its WATERPROOF 💧💦!! You might already know this, but you can also buy the helmet adapter with the light now, or separately, if you like. Mine came with the helmet mount. They also have rail mounts as a different option. Great video 👍🏻😃!!

Why is it called a sidewinder? I'm totally ignorant of this technology. I was expecting a crank to recharge the battery.

Years ago, I build a Side-Winder it was fast but it wasn't a flashlight.
That is exactly what I'm looking for in a flashlight! I love the red, blue and IR settings, and really, the IR has some pretty cool uses if you think outside of the box. This was a great review, thanks! Stay safe out there and God bless!
Thanks for reviewing with the night vision. Sadly my fist thought when you mentioned that IR mode, was how well it would work with NVG devices. Love the idea of a drone mount.

Great review. I will be getting one as soon as funds are available. Can you please post information on the Helmet (model and so on) I realize it's old but some of us still need Helmets and I did check the keep shooting website and did not see anything like it so if I have the data to the helmet I can try to find one. nice light – i have one for years – i like it because is duel power source – it will run a AA battery if you run out of the lithium – the battery compartment is spring loaded and designed for this – they are less powerful but in an emergency they are readily available – try it out
