  1. With my rifle the shells eject to my 1 o'clock position but my real problem is that I'm able to fire the first round but when loading the next round the BOLT closes about 3/4 of the way but the BULLET somehow gets CAUGHT UP and is BENT in the middle with deep GOUGES on the side and it will continue to do that until about 3-5 rounds and then after that I'm able to finish the magazine shoot the rifle with no problem most of the time.
Is that a BUFFER TUBE problem or something else ENTIRELY

  2. I've found the spring tension impacts much better than the buffer. OSS type can? Do nothing or very little. RC2 type blowback? Sprinco Red spring and H2 buffer. Best for non flow through (OSS type) action? Sprinco Red with a Griffin Armament SOB Buffer. Smooth action and very reliable.

  3. i run an H3 buffer on my 7.62×39 AR because i figured more gunpowder could use a little bit heavier buffer to even it out. you should do another test using different calibers like 7.62, 300 AAC, and 6.5 Grendel

  4. Full auto shows the differences. The rounds per minute would change based on ammo and suppression. Short barrels want higher weight as well as short barrel suppression.

    I wanna see this ON AR10/ .308

  5. I'd like to know your thoughts on JP Enterprise's silent captured spring system. I run it in a few of my AR builds and I'm a fan. Just wondering if you've ever tried it. Thanks for the content!

  6. I built a 13.7 and I couldn’t diagnose why it wasn’t cycling properly, several hundred dollars down the drain I realized the Geissele H2 buffer was too heavy for it to cycle (wolf gold 5.56). Changed out the buffer for a carbine and it runs perfectly now

  7. What about the weight of the BCG? I have a 20" 6.5 Grendel that was shooting fine until I changed it to a side charging (heavier BCG). IT ejects but fails to pick a new round or even close the bolt completely. I tried switching to carbine length spring. I bought a adjustable buffer (can change weights inside) and still nothing. Any advice would be appreciated.

  8. It’s all about muzzle rise and and ability to stay on target/ faster follow up shots. I use an H3 buffer with a mid length gas tube, on a 16” barrel. It really smooths out the recoil impulse.

  9. It would be interesting to see wear patterns on parts between a regular carbine weight buffer and a H3 or H4 buffer over 2,000 rounds. Also, the Geissele Super 42 buffer/spring system comes with a different spring which might mitigate felt recoil between different buffer weights. It would be interesting to see what the effect of the different buffer weights would be without the Geissele spring.

  10. For the sake of the over gasing, I'd love to hear your take on also implementing the Radian Raptor-SD silencer optimized charging handle along with the different weight buffers in your MK 18. Good info in the video though, thanks!

  11. Now I find myself questioning my selection of a Sprinco Red spring and Odin adjustable heavy for my .450 Bushmaster build (in progress). I'll be running a AGB, though, so we'll just have to see what happens.
