With that nice throw lever you can back off the magnification to open your FOV making it easier to find the target. Then zoom in for the shot. At 10 X you're limited FOV is what was adding seconds to the clock while searching for the target. I only mention it because you guys talked about how nice it was to be included, but not one of you used it. Thanks for the review though. This 1 X 10 has my interest. Waiting to see if PA comes out with one with their ACSS reticle in 1 X 10.
Back in '72 when I was in the Air Force they taught us breath control had more to do with our accuracy than aiming did. I put all my ammo on target with open sights at 100yds. I followed their advice on breath control and it worked. Ofc, I was also already a good shot from hunting with a single shot .22 for meat on the table. It was the first time I ever shot a rifle that wasn't single shot or bolt action LOL. Country boy from the sticks I was and still am inside. They had a dispute about whether I was allowed to learn full auto with my DI's fighting against it…wow…glad they supported their trainees:(
