Bag Guns, Backpack Guns, Backpack Carbines, EDC/Everyday Carry, Concealed carry carbines, etc. All of these phrases describe ways the average citizen can incorporate bags and guns to become better prepared.

As we analyze mass shooter events, we recognize that many of these events occur with rifles and sometimes the shooter even has armor. For this reason, we feel citizens should be prepared with more than just a pistol, something that has the capability to end a shooting fast. A rifle allows a citizen to respond efficiently with force to defend innocent life. Be an asset, not a liability.

The benefits of incorporating a bag into your EDC are extensive. Gear, medical, larger weapons are a few of the notable reasons to incorporate a bag. In this video Jared dives into three bag setups and ways that he carries a larger weapon in each one daily.

We hope this video is helpful to you along your journey!

  1. Great Topic… kelty 44l tactical is my bag for backpacking and hiking. Holds a little more stuff. That being said, I was researching state specific gun laws for an upcoming trip. SC seems to have a limit of 12" in length, VA seems to have a 20rd magazine capacity. Definately know your laws before traveling with this type of setup.

  2. Great video! I put together something simular. It has worked out very well. Built many ARs over the years. I have budget ARs and high end ARs. If I were to do it over again. I would build out a lower with the best of everything. Then build out one long range, one CQ to medium range up to 250 to 300 yrds and then what I call personal defense upper. ( 5 to 7.5 in)
If I would have done this. I would have saved myself many thousands of dollars.
    Thought:
Keep the uppers with the bags. Easy lower swopout.
This would allow someone to use there financial resources to invest more into the medical supply side. One universal medical bag to switch to the bag intended to be used on any given day.
Med bag and lower always together.
This could help more people to budget for something like this.
    Simple and resourceful.
    Best Regards
    Cory
I would love to see you make a video on this premis and help people save and use there finances purposefully and constructively to be prepared.

  3. I know it's a bit off base but I was really wanting to know about the lpvo's functionality on the 7.5? I would love to hear some practical distance on that up to a 10.5 gun like I run.. is there a place for the lpvo on the 10.5? Thank you for the awesome content. It's really given me some food for thought!

  4. Excuse me but This is plain dumb. This ain't Afghanistan. With all due respect when you start doing this is because you either you play too many video games, or have a terrorist mentality.
Nothing wrong with being prepared but this us over the top, plus your video has helped would be mass shooters choose better more concealable rifles and how to carry them

  5. The last few mins of this vid spoke to me. I live in vegas.. and the 10-1 shooting still brings tears to my eyes.. that event is literally why i bought an a-r. I dont wanna be helpless is a similar situation. Exactly like u said.. a good guy with good training can make a difference. I bought a 14.5 DD as a knee jerk reaction. Now im capable with the platform im thinking about exactly this. Im new to your channel but the tie-together at the end really resonated with me. Im very close to getting an a-r pistol. Ive until yesterday only considered an actual ddmk18 until i saw a lucas botkin- garrand thumb breakdown of thier pistols.. and while reliable its probably more weight than i nees to cary to perform this role and now im looking hard at geisselle. The dd looks the part but i dont think the geissele is lacking anything regarding reliability.. so thanks for u sharing your thoughts. You and that other big guy have been great. Subscribed.

  6. I’d say that if you just used a threaded and crowned barrel for the 300 BO. You could get another 1.5 inches of Harrell and velocity for the same overal length. Don’t lose the ability to attach suppressor either.
