Out of all the AR's I handled in the military and the ones I've built myself, I have never even heard of using a roll pin for the extractor.

Slowly collecting pieces for my 1st AR build and these short videos are great. I am impressed by the preparation steps of cleaning holes, oiling pins, and greasing springs. Those steps are missing from all other videos I’ve watched so far.
