  1. I have one of their lowers, my buffer tube came with the SB tactical brace, my castle nut is from DD, I have the Larue Flat 2S trigger, Aero LPK, Geissle spring and H1 buffer, Aero BCG (it works and was available at the time), BCM 14.5 EnLW BFH upper. Kinda built it based on what was available and it definitely works but I would do some things differently if I could go back. I need to get more time at the range with it but unfortunately ranges are expensive here and I have been busy with classes.

  2. Can you run these tests on a Daniel Defense AR? I'm blown away how much I REALLY don't know about assembling these ARs…. WOW…. Adding on… Obviously, I have way too much trust in "trusted names". I no longer have any faith in anything I've built.

  3. There is not a lot of videos out there, reviewing the LaRue- I am very glad and enjoyed this video very much. He is a walking talking master of firearms.
I have had a LaRue stripped lower for a while now, and I am waiting on the extra key parts to arrive. I am excited that I chose a LaRue, but also, I enjoy this video EVEN MORE. He has no bias, and TELLS IT WITH THE FACTS AND PROOF..
I truly respect his work. I am so far inspecting my LaRue products and they seem to be very good to go.
Lets hope it stays that way.
PS, for the record, LaRue customer service is extremely professional and responsive. ( i can almost garuntee when they saw this, they did a deep dive into it not happening again. Cheers from the woods of Maine and thank you for your videos.

  4. Great video. Just an FYI. The military is requiring less tolerances in the threads of the buffer tube do to the fact that if dirt or sediment gets in the threads it makes it harder to disassemble. If the threads were of very tight tolerances as what your desire seems to be and you get dirt in the threads while in the field it makes it very difficult to disassemble.
If you are just a range shooter and don’t actively shoot in an environment that would get the rifle dirty it’s a moot point.
    Again great video.

  5. Never need to be sorry if one of your videos ends up long. Honestly wish they were always as long or longer than this. Learning so much. Planning to come to one of your classes this August. Really looking forward to it.
