The majority of my testing has been with the CMMG 4.5″ dedicated 22lr upper. I was lucky enough to buy this CMMG 9″ dedicated upper a few months back, but didn’t have a chance to do any testing. Today, I put my first rounds through the 9″ upper using the same weight configuration as the 4.5″ upper and the same sear trip as I was using in the shorter upper. I haven’t even mounted optics on this upper because it hasn’t been used for anything until today. The lower is exactly the same as it was for the 4.5″ upper. This upper is in OEM config so the bolt, firing pin, recoil springs, etc are all stock. Only the BoreBuddy weights and CMMG sear trip were added to the upper.

That's a welcome result, not having g to do this,do that, try this, and that! I can check- off this upper and reassured mine will perform properly.the 5.7×28 should perform the same only with more power, I saw one do full auto here on the tube and was impressed.I'll post a video once I've connected the dots.thanks Bliss for your continued input…
Good work!
Is the small clip on the front of the magwell to keep the mag tight?
