How to Repair Streamlight Flashlights – Stinger Repair Kits and Rebuild Kits

Stingers are by far the most popular flashlights among technicians in the automotive repair industry, which is my specialty. You can drop them a thousand times and the flashlights just keep working. That is why they are so popular.

Over time the flashlights can fail, but the good news is they can be fixed for very little money. The above video shows you how to fix them and what tools you need. Below are the links for rebuild kits for the Stinger and the HL Stinger, plus a couple tools I used.

Special NOTE: If you have a Stinger flashlight with a bulb, none of these kits, even the upgrade kit will work with it. The assemblies are different. The kits are with C4 LEDs, which are an upgrade from the older Stiner LEDs, not bulb flashlights.

Don’t forget to like my video and share it. Thanks.
