As far as the waterproofing, my micro stream has been through the washing machine at least twice, no problems.
Funny, I literally watched a Johnny B video (Spicy Friday), and used my Stream light micro to find something I dropped on the floor before watching this one and I see you wearing the trash panda shirt.
As an edc, the micro is hard to beat. It's so easy to carry and does everything I need it to do outside of tactical tasks.
I alternate between the Microstream and the Protac 1L-1AA, which runs on a CR123, AA or AAA battery.
I've got a decade old Streamlight that I got tired of buying AAAA batteries for. It was and probably still is a workhorse. Just need unicorn batteries.
