Very pleased with the Polytac 90x fits perfectly in my tool bag side pocket. Nice review Matt much better then others. Great technical no nonsense content. Many thanks.
between the perun mini and the Protac 90 ….which one is better?
i use (ultrafire 17670 li-ion battery) to replace the 2-123a they are 12-15$ for 2 rechargeable and they sell the charger either wall or vehicle, those were the only protected cell rechargeable batteries at the time, i heard of others using that battery setup also, check it out, if you order do it from the ultrafire website to avoid counterfeits
Thanks, Matt!
"hey bud, can i borrow a light?"
Good reviews. Would you say the Polytac 90x would be a good light to wear on Turnouts? I was thinking about buying the knucklehead but the 90x looks like it’ll do the job.
I just bought the polytac 90, but they sent me the 90x? I'm assuming the 90x is better lol. It didn't come with the rechargeable battery, it came with the 123a batteries.
Thanks for the review, it was interesting seeing the lights together. I have the Perun mini and like it, just wish it had a battery level indicator and was available with a neutral white beam although the CW it does have is respectable. Although it takes a proprietary battery, you do know you can swap it out, right? Further, there are two other power options. It does not fully function with a primary CR123A, but it will run at 15 lumens and in the 2 lumen moonlight mode on a primary battery. I imagine it has to do with protecting the rechargeable from being overly discharged, but the S1R Baton II seems to hand a CR123A albeit with lower performance, so I don't know. The other option is to run the Perun mini from a powerbank since it will continue to run and charge just fine, and if you catch the cord the magnet will just disconnect without damage to the light.

My rechargeable streamlight battery does turn green when fully charged, it can take up to 5 hours to charge.
Surefire makes rechargeable cr123 they did not no more double checked.
Absolutely love the music. Thanks for the info😊
Where did you get the 90x? I can’t find them online anywhere
I may have missed it, any issues with warming up as you use?
I have a stream light ultra stinger. Have had it for years. One awesome flashlight. Thanks for the video
