  1. i use (ultrafire 17670 li-ion battery) to replace the 2-123a they are 12-15$ for 2 rechargeable and they sell the charger either wall or vehicle, those were the only protected cell rechargeable batteries at the time, i heard of others using that battery setup also, check it out, if you order do it from the ultrafire website to avoid counterfeits

  2. Thanks for the review, it was interesting seeing the lights together. I have the Perun mini and like it, just wish it had a battery level indicator and was available with a neutral white beam although the CW it does have is respectable. Although it takes a proprietary battery, you do know you can swap it out, right? Further, there are two other power options. It does not fully function with a primary CR123A, but it will run at 15 lumens and in the 2 lumen moonlight mode on a primary battery. I imagine it has to do with protecting the rechargeable from being overly discharged, but the S1R Baton II seems to hand a CR123A albeit with lower performance, so I don't know. The other option is to run the Perun mini from a powerbank since it will continue to run and charge just fine, and if you catch the cord the magnet will just disconnect without damage to the light.
