  1. Oil wouldn’t work for this would it? The reason I ask is my brother went to pick up some grease and ar mag from the gunshop for me and the guy sells him an ar 180 mag which has the catch slot on the other side and instead of grease he sold him oil which I already had

  2. The welding from dissimilar metals is called galvanic corrosion. However that is what happens when two dissimilar metals are in contact while BARE or RAW. So on an AR15 it is unnecessary. The upper is anodized, which offers superior anticorrosion properties by itself, also the barrel is at least parkerized as well, another barrier against corrosion so the two dissimilar metals never actually come in to contact to create galvanic corrosion. The last fact is that is not only needs extreme heat to happen it needs high amounts of pressure at the same time. In a nutshell, this is useless.

  3. MIL-G-21164D is Aeroshell 64. Lithium base, same as '33 but with 5% added Moly. This is the new name for '33MS
Aeroshell 33MS is the obsolete name, which is why people have a hard time obtaining it.

Removed the link, just realized you were selling 33MS, thanks for supporting the AR community!
