  1. My Saint has run perfectly from day 1 regardless the brand of ammo steel or brass with close to 500 rounds down range. If the Savage Recon had been out I might have taken a look at it since a free floated barrel would have been nice but the groups I get with the Saint shows it is very accurate out of the box. Family members have purchase Springfield firearms with great success and this is my first from Springfield. So far I am very pleased with my Saint.

  11. I just love Springfields 1911s and XD line. I'll probably have to get one of these too. The scandal thing is over, Smith did the gun lock thing, Colt was doing the safety smart guns, Ruger did its thing. People still buy their guns and SA makes better stuff than those companies.

  14. Bought one a couple of months ago, put about $200.00 worth of rounds through it. What’s that, about 175 shots? Anyway, no hang ups, no issues with function. Love it. Only complaint was that the rear stock had some very sharp edges that actually cut me. File and sandpaper and all is good. I contacted Springfield and suggested they smooth the area before shipping. I am a little disappointed that they have not responded. I use Riton red dot 🔴 sights and it is plenty accurate at 100 yards, next time out we’ll try 200 yards.

  21. Best ar for 1000. Put it up with any high end saint is a very well made ar same as a bcm. all day long colt bbr by green mountain button bbr colt bcm same barrel. Also aero makes uppers lowers for lots high end companys colt cmt fn armerlite all same as saint all millspec saintbhas tons up grades to make it great as u get yes Springfield made for over 200 yrs in every war we had for reb war to nam. Runs 1000 to 1200 now days uget 1500 to a 2000 ra with al Springfield saint lut on ths gun a dd is 2000 plus the gun u can buy to for that and u have better stuff others dount even have on there's civil war won with a Springfield if the yanks the rebels had this bad boy we wount have won the war try a Springfield saint they run

  26. It seems like this is just a BCM rifle with Springfield stamping… BCM makes great rifles, so that’s not a bad thing. I’m just curious to know how much manufacturing Springfield really put into this rifle.

    I will say the price point is amazing for what you get.
