For those of you who wanted an MP7 and could never get it, CMMG now offers the same 4.6 caliber of the famous MP7 in the Banshee platform. Extremely low recoil but still an effective caliber, the FourSix is an interesting option.

I think your wife outshot you brother. Not sure how I feel about that.
How different could it really be from 5.7
Not even a staked castle nut. Guess that guy took the day off.
Please do not use scary because look at prosecution for Kyle we do not need for them to start using those terms to a jury
Where could someone buy that firearm?
Maybe a handgun will follow.
I'd love a CMMG. I just wish they did side charging handle platforms for the PCCs
Surprised how little recoil it appeared to have. Could barely tell it moved.
The Wifey's getting it!
I would rather have the banshee and 10 mm
when is CMMG going to make one in 357 sig already dam it
I'd love to try one but with the crazy price on 5.56, 300blk, etc…. the availability of ammunition is going to temper my enthusiasm. Wish you had included a 300blackout, or 30 carbine for the cartridge comparison.
Mrs. Honest Outlaw needs that rifle.. Don't deny her!!!
Love this new gun!!! But Damn it in still waiting for my 10mm Banshee order to show up!!!
Somebody saw bond shooting in no time to die #hip shooting
I absolutely love CMMG stuff and I own a bunch of it but I honestly don’t understand this offering at all. The 5.7×28 is already out there in RDB and is a winner so why bring this? Love CMMG but I see zero interest for this especially without the option to reload the cartridge.
Exactly what I’ve been looking for. A gun that takes ammo I have never seen in stock anywhere. Ever.
have you shot kel tech p50?
Nice video. You have a unique take on things that not many other gun-channels can compete with.
Have a nice day 🌟
If it's 40 grain projectile at 1900 fps, what would be the benefit over a 22 magnum with the same specs?
I’ve got a Banshee on order in 45 Auto. My poor mans Thompson SMG. 😎
I need one of these with an FRT. Discount MP7
Ooh throw a forced reset trigger on that
This is cool but im so hesitant to take on a new cartridge. I have stuck to a select few to stockpile. 9mm, 22lr, 12 gauge, and 5.56/.223
I like the sun glasses not sure on the hair lol, that would be a perfect pistol for your wife it has very little recoil fits her perfect and I gotta tell ya she is a pretty dam good shot the only down side is like you said the ammo hard to get and expensive I don't know why cmmg make these rifle/pistols like this where the ammo is so expensive I am sure if you lived in Europe you could get all of the 4.6x30mm ammo you wanted but not here
Thank you for the review Chris! Great gun. How do you compare it to the Kriss Vestor? I'm thinking of buying a Kriss as they are not so expensive.
“Nature’s tripod” my nickname in college.
The more I think about it, this or 5.7 is a great family caliber. Kids, wife, liberal brother in law.
I would love to see a direct side-by-side comparison with the 5.7 8in Barrel.
Multiple Shooters opinions.
Multiple distances and conditions.
Choosing between the two to purchase would be a very tough decision so very tough comparison and review would be great !
Man, seeing 7.5 fk round mentioned makes me really want cmmg to make a banshee in 7.5 fk. I now it's a pipe dream but damn.
I'm wondering if the fact that cmmg roll the dice to produce a firearm where the ammunition is even more limited availability than the 5.7 x28 means that they have confidence that it could take the lead in popularity over the 5.7 x28mm ?
Everyone knows that cmmg is a proponent of the 5.7.
Everyone knows that the 5.7 would be more popular if the ammunition was more available.
Everyone knows that the difficulty of getting this ammunition is because FN throttling its availability and its difficulty to reload.
For obvious reasons the ballistics and intended use of these two similar rounds are closely related.
In short: do you think the 4.6 has potential of being more readily available and easier to reload than the 5.7 ?????
Anyone's opinion on the subject would be greatly appreciated ?
I'd like to see the rounds performance on varmints. Maybe I'm just old but I have a problem using rounds that won't reliably drop deer sized game for self defense. I do see where there could be use for this though
This is cool but with the continuing variability of ammo supplies and the adoption struggles of rounds like 327 federal and 300 aac, I would be hesitant to invest in this particular platform
Question: For a civilian platform why not just 22WMR? Similar ballistics, cheaper/available/versatile ammo.
I don’t believe she missed one time. She pinged more steel than you buddy!!
Great vid! Love you guys!
the reset was louder than the bullet strike on the steel. The low recoil is optimal. This is a expensive new hobby that keeps improving, but never enough money to keep up. Thanks for the reviews
I will say, this would be a little easier round to reload than 5.7×28
You are a Stud. The Significant other is not to shabby either. Always informative and entertaining vid's!
I have a singular live 4.6×30 round on display on my computer table. It was courtesy from a buddy of mine that let me keep one after I did a full-auto shoot with an MP7 at a firearms museum down in Miami. I wish we could legally purchase and own an actual H&K MP7 state side. Only time will tell unfortunately. If only they knew the market demand for it.
Because 5.7×28 wasn’t expensive enough????
There you go ladies, you heard her, if you want an AR style less concussive and easy to shoot, plus extremely accurate. This may be the AR "pistol" for you.
Would like to see a banshee in 22tcm just for sh..ts and giggles
Great review, but what we really want to know is – does the CMMG FourSix take it all like Riley?
