This brake is amazing!!! After some trial, and error… I tuned mine just slightly to the right. Now, my optic never leaves the target during rapid fire. 12 o'clock was sending the muzzle slightly to the right. 1 o'clock was sending it slightly to the left. I just ran drills, until it was perfectly tuned. My drill times, and accuracy have drastically improved, because of this brake.
just a quick FYI. Per Jerry miculek you should clock it at 1 o'clock for a right handed shooter and 11 o'clock for a lefty. I have one on my AR as well and absolutely love it!
I know you probably reinstalled it, but your muzzle brake was still out of alignment. Btw, if it's a cal compliant AR you aren't even supposed to have an A2 Birdcage…
good muzzle break for the price, just wear some ear plugs.the barrel hardly move except for very little recoil.!!!!you want regret it having one on your ar15
original flash hider and new Miculek muzle break are 2 different things. and they work different. with flash hider you can instlling bayonet "if need", with Miculek then say bye bye to yout bayonet because the OD much bigger than the original flash hider. For me i like flash hider ….keep military look and bayonet install also important "just in case" run out of bullet then bayonet is NEXT…WHEN YOU NEED YOU HAVE IT!
Performs very well! Before I had a regular A2 flash hider and the recoil was noticable when shooting with a scope. Now that I have the break installed I am able to stay on target and literally watch the bullet travel without losing sight.

It’s awesome for keeping your buddy’s away from you while shooting!
You don't have all the correct tools for the job…you're really not a man huh?
Hello… you timed this incorrectly. 1 o'clock for a right handed shooter and 11 o'clock for lefty
i dont like this locknut system… i feel like the brake will come loose after a few mags…
Dude, buy some tools. $5-$10 for a full set at Sears, Harbor Freight or Lowes will do…Geez!

As mentioned below there is a difference between a muzzle brake and a flash hider/suppressor
