At 3:33 he stopped shooting after the first shot. The second was much quieter because the first shit burned off the oxygen in the suppressor. The first is always louder when your suppressor has been sitting around full of ambient air.

Agreed with the view on silencers…like who would want to scare off a trophy buck in the area after nabbing a doe etc ya know. Plus they're just fun as hell and look cool on your firearm.
Suppressors are illegal because, in an urban setting the only police or anyone can tell where its coming from is the sound. If people had suppressors no old ladies would be calling the police saying they heard gun shots. In a mass shooting scenario imagine how long it would take to locate a silenced shooter. Remember the speed limit isn't for the skilled drivers its for the unskilled lol.

It would be great for law abiding firearm owners but not for urban gang bangers. Major cities have acoustic sensors to detect and locate gunshots. Law enforcement would lose a tool in their toolbox to stem the handgun murder rate.
I am a gun guy. I would have to argue that the more subtle a gun gets the more lethal it is, but that doesn’t deter me from thinking they should be legal.
I am still very new to the firearm world, I have never shot suppressed but I really want to.

In France, If you have an authorization for a firearm, you can buy any suppressor you want for this caliber. Or you can buy any suppressor for civilian caliber (rifle caliber)
Little more culture point : you have up to 10 "B category" (short shotgun, AR, SMG, tactical Rifle, Pistol), 3 by year, starting at the end of your first year at shooting range.
B cat weapon doesn't belong to you but to the Government, If they decide that now B category if forbidden for civilian, weapons will be taken away for their owner… probably even without being paid back
And for C cat (shotgun 32 inches+, rifles (up tu 12,7)), just go to any shooting club and paid your licence
