  1. A silencer for inside the home is a significant benefit to all inside the home. A two point sling properly worn makes it impossible for an attacker to shoot you with your own rifle should he grab hold of it. It also allows you to let go of the rifle and transition to your handgun while the attacker is focused on trying to gain control of the rifle secured to your torso.

  2. I Own two AR. My SHTF is DDm4a1 FDE. And wife uses my Springfield Saint Victor 300 AC. I agree we all need a AR 15 for home defense. Question, how do I ask a family to get an Ar15 than using a Shotgun?

  3. What would you prefer? The Aimpoint T2 Micro or Comp M4S? I know there’s a size and weight difference but the M4S still isn’t ridiculously big and heavy; factoring that in, what would you choose?

  4. For the light I have the TLR1 and I’d highly recommend it. I recently bought my first rifle and that’s the first thing I did and it’ll fit perfectly on my dads Glock 17 as well. It will also light up a whole room like no other. I also took it off my rifle and flashed it at my friend in the dark and he was stunned for a solid 2-3 seconds and said he was seeing spots after. So if you aim the light at a intruder it’ll give you plenty of time to confirm if they’re a threat at night.

  5. Thanks for putting out another informative and honest video. I personally have QD slings on all my rifles. However, I have them stored out of the way on the stocks using ranger bands. That way, the sling is out of the way, and I probably wouldn't bother throwing the sling over my head unless the situation called for it, and I had the time for it. Like you, I don't feel that in most situation a sling is a requirement for home defence but I prefer having it available in case the situation calls for it. Just my two cents.

  6. lot of stuff I didn't know back when I was first getting into guns.
today still, there is far more that I don't know than I do.
One thing I do know is, yes, revolvers do jam.

  7. I just got my Holosun 510c ($309 on Amazon) and after getting something this good at this price, I really can’t see why anyone (at least any civilian) would spend more than double the money for an aimpoint or an eotech. This thing is rock solid, the sight picture is clear as day, the battery life is incredible, it has a solar panel to add even more to the insane battery life and can automatically switch power sources depending on changing lighting conditions, it’s motion activated, has 3 different reticle options as well as the option to buy a green or red dot model, the controls are dead simple and it just feels like quality. I was gonna buy an MRO before looking into these and I’m glad I went with the Holosun. The other companies are putting out great glass of course but right now, in my opinion, Holosun is the company that is truly moving the ball down the field when it comes to bringing feature-rich, high quality, dependable optics to consumers for half the price of their competition.

If you’re one of these guys who has used the same thing or bought from the same company for many years and they’re the only company you trust, fair enough. But I’d be at least testing out some of these Holosun sights because it could save you a ton of money pretty damn quickly.
