When loading ammo you should be able to simply press them straight in from the top of the mag fyi… I used to do the press n push method (like you do on pistol mags) but as someone pointed out to me after watching me struggle with it for a bit you don’t have to on AR-15 mags. Might save you a few seconds in the future…

  2. You are starting your up drills with the safety off?!?! Safety on, sweep it off while raising the gun, sight picture, shot, second sight picture, safety on, lower muzzle. And you don’t need to load ar mags like pistol mags, just push them strait down over the feed lips.

  3. I’m planning on buying my first at-15 soon. Almost did today and it was the ddm4v7. There was a black rain packaged with a 1/6lpvo that looked ok and for a bit cheaper but idk I think I still want the dd. I’m with you and thinking about going big from the gate.

  4. Nice rifle, likely over gassed from the factory. That's been my experience with DD, but if the recoil doesn't bother you she's gonna run reliably. Thanks for the video!
