  1. Would this be the same for a colt platform Ar-9? I have a ar-9 Odin upper and BCG with a colt lower from The Buffalo. i was just going to put my old mil-spec 5 lb pull trigger from my ar 15 in it, since the specs said it would work. Haven't finished building it yet. but I've been looking at other triggers to replace it in the future. It's my first Ar-9 build, so just not sure what would be the best options.

  2. Great video!
I have been shooting my son's Banshee 300 MkGs 9mm for a few weeks until mine shows up soon.
I like the CMC one you showed towards the end.
I have never done a trigger install, maybe you can do a video one day on a 9mm?
    Thanks…

  3. Built a angstadt ar9 and have been having double fires. Been having double fires. From the research I’ve done some people say it’s the trigger group some people say it’s the buffer system. I run a jps silent capture spring built for 9mm so I have a hard time believing that one. My next step is to replace the trigger group. Have u ever experienced double fires? I would appreciate any insight on this.

  4. CMC trigger (regular AR model) works perfect in my FX9 9mm and is a good value. About $140
Sometimes on sale for less. Just Google….Best price on CMC Trigger
Bend out the housing slightly for a tight fit

  5. After several AR9 builds I had some experience with triggers. The original mil trigger from PSA worked 100% but did not have the light pull I wanted. I installed an Elftmann AR9 trigger and had repeated failures to reset and even double fired, firing out of battery that destroyed a Glock mag. Elftmann replaced the trigger but the second one also failed to reset more than half the time, even after several hundred rounds of break in. I then installed a CMC AR9 trigger. Works perfectly and breaks at the advertised weight at half the cost.

  6. Really wish you’d take a look at the Stern Defense drop in trigger for the AR-9. $167 for NiB. Cheaper still is their other one with the other finish. If you could get one and do a review would be great. Otherwise keep the videos coming, I love them and find them full of good info, you’ve guided me on a couple builds already with your reviews, thanks!!!

  7. @tacticaltoolbox I'm running the vilosity 5.56 standard in my AR9. It been running just fine. I have 3-3.5k rounds with it. I've liked it so much I've put them in every other AR I own. Plus I'm in PHX as we so even better 👍

  8. Great insight as always. I installed the CMC Flat Face Single Stage 9mm trigger in my Extar EP-9 and it runs like a champ. I wish you would do a review on the Extar EP-9, I think you would love it. The Honest Outlaw did a review of it and he raved about it. Keep up the great work, always look forward to your videos.
