  1. Great video Dr. . I think you did a great job with selection and build. You've set it up to be a close to moderate range rifle with the awesome red dot sight. I guess if I had to change one thing as a matter of preference it would be the stock. I'd reassign the one you have on there now to a more long range rifle that requires a super firm fit, number of adjustments to fit scope risers, and the provision to pull the rifle in close to shoulder. I might opt for something shorter and lighter for this build, maybe a carbine tube and a B5 or BCM carbine stock. The whole setup looks really nice and was well thought out, you did well!

  2. This instructional video is like most other AR15 build videos with the same major flaw. You did a great job of "explaining" how to do it but a very poor job of "showing" how to do it. You have to remember that most of us that are watching this have never done it before or we wouldn't need to watch it in the first place. Consequently the "showing" us how to do it is very important. If you tell us what you're going to do and then the next video clip says "now that I've got this installed" does us absolutely no good. We want to "see" you actually do it, including all the obstacles you encounter along the way. Again, you did a great job of explaining, just a poor job of showing it, which is what youtube is all about.

  3. Very informative thank you for taking the time to show us your build step by step. Im surely no expert but alot of instructers suggest mounting your red dot as far out on the receiver as possible for situational awareness reasons. Also could you maybe post how much the build wouldve cost if you paid for all parts.

  4. Vary nice build! can't wait to get back to work so I can finish the one I started last year. I like those buttocks, I'm planing on making something similar from black walnut along with a black walnut hand guard and grip custom fit to my hands. Building it in 6.5 Grendel. Not sure what type of scope to put on it though.

  5. Nice build! You know, I've owned several high end ARs but my favorite is a Colt M4 LE6920. It's not the prettiest but it has a chromed barrel and chamber. It literally takes minutes to clean it, thanks to the chromed surfaces. It's very reliable and accurate.

  6. Hi Dr. Bradley-this is Park Myers. Enjoyed the video. A number of years ago, I started with a Smith & Wesson M&P models and have pretty much re-built it with various components. Hope to see more videos and books from you. Warm regards.
