  1. Feel sorry for police woman in California add. You’re going to need that helmet. Oh, better get a Banshee 57 with a shit load of magazines girl, cause you’re going to need it in that Communist sanctuary state of yours.

  2. Buddy of mine is the lead maintenance supervisor with decades of experience who told me they use heat to break both blue and red loc tight.  This was just a manufacturing short cut that would be fine for most users but I would expect better considering my nice Palmetto 556 is drilled and pinned per mil spec.  Theres a reason for mil spec and here we see it.  And yes I know this gun is an odd ball but attachment of the gas block is a know issue.

  3. Should be small gap with shoulder to fully line up gas ports, also I never understood why people dont stake the GB screws? I know im late but just 2 cents

  4. The 7.62X39 ammo that is widely available is pretty dirty. This does not interface well with a direct impingement system where the gas and dirt has is blown back into the moving parts. They should have made this platform in a piston configuration. You can buy really accurate top end AKs ( Arsenal or Custom Makers ) for the same money or less and they come with rails so the ergonomics and modularity are there. I also prefer the changing handle in the location of the AK ( Call me old school , but it is hard to improve on the AK design ). This AR-15 charging handle location seems clumsy on a gun with no bolt hold where you have to run it after every magazine. This is an interesting concept but the execution is flawed.

  5. After placing a second o ring (total of two) around the extractor spring, I have not had any more problems with the rifle. Which buy the way is very accurate, under one inch at 100 yards, three shot group with Golden Tiger.

  6. I also own the CMMG MK47 Mutant. I shoot frequently and have put many rounds through this firearm. I've never had any problems with it until I got above 1500+ total rounds. After watching this video I decided to check my gas block also and found the same issue as well. I fixed the issue as you did and… NOT 1 PROBLEM SINCE!!! Thanks! I looked continuously for the issue and didn't think about this.

  7. My mk47 has been having failure to eject the spent cases, and after your suggestion to watch your video I see where your extractor spring has two o rings installed on the springs, where mine only has one o ring. This would cause a poor spring tension on the case which would cause it to slip off and leaving it in the chamber blocking the feeding round from clambering. I'll call cmmg about this. Thank you again.

  8. Don't bother trying to shoot your reloaded 7.62 with the Mutant. I started reloading when it looked like the gov't was going to ban 7.62 bullets. Had some I reloaded late last year for my Ruger Mini-30. Had total failure to eject the casing. I could spend a ton of money trying to find a load that works, but at this point i don't see why.

  9. Is that rifle really easy to disassemble completely after shooting corrosive ammo? I shoot a lot of the M67 ammo, and with my AK's I like to completely take them apart and clean the gas port, gas tube, FCG, every nook and cranny really. It is just so easy to do that with the AK rifles. How is it with this one?
