Thank you all for the comments and suggestions. Its seems like everyone agrees its over gassed and thats causing the issues so I think ill play around with buffer weights and we'll continue this with a part 3.
Did you ever fix it? From the looks of it, You need a heavier buffer to slow the dwell time of the bcg. If you do that and still happens you need to replace the extractor also. AR carbine length pistols need heavier buffers.
I have a BRAND NEW db-15 rifle that won’t cycle. seriously doubting every good review these rifles have since this thing is BRAND NEW. I get MAYBE 2 shots then nothing…usually I have to manually cycle after each shot
When I first bought my DB15 16" I removed my extractor Oring. Or else I had to use my forward assist to grab the round. I removed my Oring , and Bam it sent shells in the proper direction and didn't just fall out. If anyone is still have problems after removing the Oring. Try a different BCG. I plan on putting 1000 rounds through mine before just going with a bcm auto bcg. But mine is running currently with no malfunctions. Also that's a pistol and you may want to just upgrade with bcm spring and Oring specificly designed for pistols
I just got the rifle version of this.. so far flawless function.. I nano oiled all the internals. It shoots all the junk ammo I’ve put through it.. $550 for a magpul upgrades ar15 it’s super good value..
Strange! I wonder if it is to extractor, looks like it is throwing shells at 1 o'clock? I don't know what the right wordage is, but my 300BO AND 556 extract to 3 to 4 o'clock? Just a one legged guys thoughts
I own a DB15 pistol. No issues. I would wonder if the rings failed that the proper maintenance is being done. After you rebuilt it did you clean the gas tube and use the same extractor?

AR carbine length pistols need heavier buffers.
To much lubrication. Comment from my friend that is a Sargent or arms.
Your over gased to much pressure .I would go differant block and heavier buffer spring setup
Mine works outstanding. On the front I have a BlastCan
Definitely overgassed….. possibly an extractor problem.
love how he not scared to shoot the damn gun . some people shoot too slow for my liking 😂
Rifle length buffer spring and play with the buffer weight.
Change the spring bufer💪🏻👍🏻
My 1st ar will be the 10 inch diamondback . They shoot pretty good compared to m&p and ruger
Over gassed
I just received my diamondback DB 15. 300 5.6. .223 Should I expected the same defect ,you demonstrated
Sell it
Those magazines suck, DB 15's run great with C products mags !
its a timing issue just like a car timing. the new round is being chambered before the used round gets extracted.
That mag carrier looks so annoying to wear lol Its crooked and the straps would constantly be all over your neck. Nope.
I think it's because it ejects at the 2 o'clock instead of the preferred 4 o'clock

Yep not grabbing
DB says when you have to shoot quality ammo…`ot china koran ammo like that.
Are the bolt and bolt carrier deep cleaned and lubricated?
What handguard is that?
Anyone know how this handguard comes off? No set screws does it just twist off??
Check your gas tube, and bolt assembly..
yep thicker spring and heavier buffer weight should do the trick

I'm having the same problems
Is all diamondbacks running like this? Y’all making me scared to buy one

AD. JUST. ABLE. GAS. BLOCK
Diamondback recommends not using steel case ammo
The brass is still being ejected too far forward
That gas tube is weird
They build boats brother!! Stick with Daniel's, Smith, sig, even DPMS is better than Diamondback.
Did you make sure the bolt was machined to standard that doesn't allow the bolt to be installed upside down in the bolt carrier?
It's terrible when your customer becomes your final QA inspector. Buy cheap, buy twice.
I have the rifle db15 and its never failed me once. It's also accurate out to 500yrds with some sighting. I love this gun!
How does yours spit so much fire
Saint edge pistol. Very good….

Your problem is using shit ammo
