The Geissele Super 42 Spring was designed to improve the function and reliability of your AR-15 pattern rifle. Its unique spring design uses three independent strands of wire, just like the German MG42 Machine Gun. This concept acts as a harmonic damper and energy absorber by allowing the springs to flex separately from each other. This flex helps displace excess energy which decreases the chance of spring failure and assists with making your AR-15 more reliable.
Compared to the stock spring, The Geissele Super 42 Spring has a decreased tendency to lose length and force over a given round count. As an added bonus, it removes the annoying spring reverberations (twang) heard and felt by the shooter through the buttstock. The Super 42 Spring has a 15% stronger average return force than the standard buffer spring. This will assist in stripping rounds out of the magazine when operating with a dirty weapon or when using steel-case ammo.

Will this work on subsonic 300 BLK?
So for a 10.5 inch barrel for 556 using a carbine gas length system I would use a H2 with the Geissele super 42 spring? Would a H3 be a bit of a stretch?
Did anyone notice the super 48 spring created way more metal shavings during the test? Some people don't lube the spring. I'm kind of happy I have been doing it all these years.
Third video in a row tonight on buffer technology and functionality of cycling carbines. I have been building for a while now and experiencing various feeding and ejection issues from combined suppressed, nonsuppressed,62 to 77grain, adjustable gas blocks, buffer weights and barrel lengths.
I am convinced I need to get the Super 42 next in hopes that I can reach the sweet spot I need for my current build creating a match grade precision AR capable of one hole groups at 100yrds shot for shot. I am currently averaging sub 1/2 to 3/4" with factory ammo.
Excellent video, thank you.
The best parts you can buy. Hands down. If you haven't got everything they offer on your weapon you are suffering from just having a generic run of the mill weapon. Now ask yourself, is that the weapon you want your buddies to see you with at the range? Much less a weapon you need for protection in serious situations. Not.
I know a girl who love to have one of those cycle tester machines.
I would like to see it tested in glass tube for noise level???
How are they working out after 4 years???? Any advice ???
I need one for and A1 stock Cal. freaks make us have fixed stock only
PA strong. I picked up the super 42 the other day. I like it so far.
“I’m just using a standard set of calipers”pulls out the biggest I’ve ever seen if you haven’t worked in a machine shop
I have an 8” 300blk that cycles supersonic real good but won’t cycle subsonic which Super42 would you recommend
Will this work for an AR-10?
This thing has causes so many failures in AR
thanks for blowing my ears out with that intro
Makes a huge difference ! It’s easy to change the weights too !
Just picked up a super 42 buffer spring and I'm curious to see how it does
bought this super 42 spring h2 buffer weight with the buffer tube like a month ago for my 7.62×39 ar build. im sure itl be great
I put the 42 braided rifle spring with my Kynshot Rifle hydraulic buffer in my MK 12 mod 0 super sweet smooth flat operation recovery after shot quick recovery for second shot like shooting a 22LR
A great combo Kynshot Buffer and Super 42 Braided Buffer Spring !
And tungsten balls
So when you change it to an h2, does it matter the order of placement with the steel ball and balls? Thank you for your time and great video.
Will a H2 with the super 42 and a 13.7in barrel be ok?
I could watch bill take 3 hours to explain how a stapler works and I’d just sit there like😦
So is this useful in semi auto ARs, or is it mainly just for full auto, high volume fire?
And also, would I have to change my bcg and adjust the gas block? Weary of short stroking.
Black cloth to cover their electronic linear motor 😂
