Talking about the Surefire x300 Ultra and the Streamlight TLR-1s. Both are good lights!

You make me nervous.
Might want to know how to use the lights before you talk about it; there are different attachments for the x300u that allow it to fit on different firearms; it’s made stock for glocks 🤦🏻♂️
Lmao you’re going to carry a weapon light in your pocket then put it on the gun if you need it?😂
Im rockin with streamlight all the way atm but i will pickup a surefire when i purchase a railed 1911
You had it right in your vid the 300a is designed for polymer rails. The 300b is for metal 1913
I have had both lights, the SureFire X300 – U is the way to go, unless you don't mind taking your gun out and having a dead flashlight on it because the switch was constantly be turned on while in my truck or in a holster. That happened way more than I care to experience ever again. I'll stick with surefire thank you!
The Streamlight TLR-1 HL wins. Surefire holds many military contracts which brings them lots of brand loyalty. However, Streamlight developed a handheld 1 million candlepower (981,000 candela) searchlight as a commercial spin-off of technology developed by Johnson Space Center for NASA as part of the Apollo program. Now, consider price point. Streamlight wins, hands down. Good review though. 🇺🇸🗽🦅🇦🇹
You're supposed to loosen the screws. That's how picatinny rail systems work
I'll stick to my TLR 1 ,15 years old now I think ,has been dropped and banged around with no fail and for a lot less money .
The word you’re looking for is “momentary” to imply temporary or non permanent. “Monetary” implies a currency
I got the TLR-6 for my Shield 9mm, and the TLR-1 HL 800 lumens for my home defense Glock 34. If Surefire was the same price point as the Streamlight, I would have bought them. But for $100+ difference there's no argument there. I mean the TLR-6 and the TRL-1 HL that I bought cost the same as just one Surefire 300 ultra.
Not for $250- $300. Surefire needs to get a grip and ppl need to stop buying all this gucci gear for their guns.
On the back of the light there is a square plate that is removable. You can remove the plate with a punch or a small Allen wrench.
It all depends on how the rails are cut. And guess what when you coat them, that coating creates an interference fit.
Surefire LC1 200 lumens running it on my Glock 22 and Ruger P95, Love it.
Good review I don't think I'd use my weapon light as a flashlight and then if u need it just put it on to me that's just another motion you don't need I just carry a really small flashlight and would keep my weapon light on my firearm but just my opinion thanks.
I prefer the TLR, I will purchase it for my XD mod 2.
tlr1 or surefire xc1???
I'm sold on the stream light
I'll never purchase a surefire again. You can't send your lights in for warranty because when you submit a request they don't respond. When you try calling you will be on hold for literally hours. They don't call back they don't answer emails or voicemails. I hope that company goes out of business. If I bought one of there $7000 flashlights and it broke then I'm out $7000 and that's it. Fu#k you, your just a civilian we only speak to military logistics.
can I put that TLR on my p226 nitron?
you mean momentary on and off not monetary on and off……right…. 🙂
Im all for having a flashlight on one's carry. However having a weapon light on a ccw is a waste IMO. Weapon lights are for tactical situations in which none of you will ever find yourself in.
I was looking on ebay today they want 250 for that surefire .im like damn never mine i wait .lol
I think Olight is great and cheaper. I have it on all my carry guns.
I CANT BUY 2 800 LUMEN TLR1HL INSTEAD OF 1 SUREFIRE LOL
Thank you very informative.
