People always think they will grab a bunch of things when something happens. Reality is that if it's not on the gun itself, you won't have it when you need it. That's why having a light and some extra ammo right on the gun is a very good idea
You made a point that you were putting the batteries in before you re-assembled it; does that mean you have to dis-assemble it just to replace the batteries, or can that be accessed with it on the gun?
Good video, the streamlight racker is a great choice for a weapon light, very impressed with mine . One other con , it needs a kill switch, so theres no chance of activating the light when slung or in a carry case or scabbard.
Just bought the 870 version for my tac-14, no strap unfortunately. I don't really like the magpul forend that comes on it. $274 Canadian shipped, lil more expensive here. Thanks for the review, I think I made a good choice.
