I do some shooting with the Streamlight TL-Racker 850 lumen shotgun forend on a Remington 870 & Mossberg 590, compare the beam to the Surefire DSF light, and discuss what I think of it overall 🔦

  1. spot on review.  I got my and put it on my mossy 500.  I will say, that they do not come with the tool, and I learned that the action slide tube has to be the larger tube, (7" I think).  mine has the 6.5 (or 6.75), so I got the extended nut, and it works perfectly.

  2. Junk. Why the hell would you design it and put the switch where you will constantly hit it running the gun ? Right where your thumb rest.

I’ll stick with a mag tube mount and pic rail light .

  3. I have been seriously looking into these for use on my Mossberg shotguns, but recently aquiring the Mossberg Flex systems, in which I purchased the tactical fore end , to mount an external light, I am now on the fence, I wished they also would have included a strobe function as well.

  4. Exceptional as allways I watch all of your videos however when I go back it looks like I haven't so go figure it seems to be just yours however I always like and I do and I love your content it's one of the best

  5. id like to know if anyone bought a cloud defense owl because its the weapon light of the tactical gods lol.

THE ONLY WML YOU NEED RIGHT? dont even carry another light! CLOUD AND PROUD. OWL ON THE PROWL. take it right off, and put it right back on!

  6. i bet a 16650 (keeppower brand) will work with it.

i run 16650's in surefire e series (tactician), g2 series (g2x, fury), elzetta bravo, malkoff 2 cell scout head, and streamlight protac 2lx.

full power rechargeable battery with a little less capacity than premium 18650's but same power as streamlight 18650's. just as reliable. i think ive been running 16650's since before the tactician was released and i use them daily.

my main carry is a tactician head, malkoff 16650 body, and keeppower 16650.

thinking about trying to get the vltor qd 1913 mount so i can pop these in and out for weapon light usage but still carry.

these are what i like and im just too invested to get anything else now. im tapped in!
