  1. I just got the "Vickers" by Blue Force Gear Rifle Sling. It's a 2 point, qdc. Made in the U.S.A.!!!🇺🇲🦅🇺🇸 Loving it! ❤ That magpul, it looks like it functions the same way. By the way, I want that Lapua!!! Good video! 😁👍

  2. I'm using a Vickers sling with a QD mount at the front of a 13" hand guard and I have the other end just looped through the rear most hole in my stock. Recently I was looking for ways to sinch the sling down tighter if I need to use my hands while bending over such as administering first aid or to be able flip the rifle around to my back with high retention. What I did was add another QD swivel to the loop going through my stock. In a situation where I need maximum retention I can pull the loop through and use the QD swivel to attach to a Magpul QD ASAP plate behind the castle nut. This provides a ton of retention when the sling is sinched down. Loosening the tri glide allows for easy strong side shouldering. Detaching the rear QD and letting the loop run back to the hole in the stock allows for transition to weak side. Sinching the tri glide down all the way makes it tight enough to tension the sling to stabilize long-range shots. It seems like a really nice setup.

  3. Great video, the only thing I would add is one of my primary reasons for a sling is keeping someone else from taking your rifle from you and using it against you.

  4. I went all out on the BlueForce 2-point padded sling. It does everything the Magpul does, it's just a little nicer. Thanks to John Lovell for directing my attention to BlueForce.

Slings are always trying to get in your way. But if you train hard, you'll know how to manipulate them quickly and effectively.

  5. Bump in the night in your skivies you never know if someone try’s taking that gun is nice to have that sling helping you keep your gun.I think anyway it can get in your way also. I like QD points on my Mlok and stock

  6. I like a two point that’s convertible to a single! I like the two point if I’m going to be walking like hunting I like single point if just shooting but gots to look out for that nut shot when in single! Thanks for your service also

  7. Great video, and has helped me adjust my sling, however big question….. do you? or should you? thread your sling through a flak jacket?, I do a lot of airsoft btw, as we don't have the 5th amendment in the UK lol, and just want the best setup for my games… any advice appreciated. Cheers

  8. I understand the single point sling, I just don't care for it. However I still don't understand the three point sling at all. Why does it even exist? What is the advantage over a two point?
