The spiral acts like a heat sink trapping air As you move between the spirals itself cooling the barrel down very nice looking uper my next Barrel will be fluted good video

Does spiral fluting increase surface area which in turn helps cool the barrel faster? Well technically yes, but quit making it sound like it's even noticeable. Experienced shooters know that's a ridiculous statement.
Would your prefer an Aero or Palmetto lower to go with this upper?

trying to build a badass ar-15 i looked around the Saint they are asking $1200 or so, what would you recommend>?
would this upper be ideal? and i would like to buy a complete lower and call it a day, or possible 80% lower and i will add my own stock, please let me know what you recommend, i would like good quality all American.

Alpha chf upper $599. Psa chf upper w/geissele rail $499 come on now it's not even close psa chf all day long
Is having a threaded ar15 barrel illegal in ca? Wanna order from PSA but they all have flash hider, which I would plan to take off of course
