The Nikon Monarch HG has already been presented on Binomania.it through the excellent impressions of Piero Pignatta, a faithful collaborator of Binomania and expert in Nikon products, and the brief but intense reportage on the field by Paolo Monti

In short, in practice, this is a binocular that has caused many fans of the brand to discuss, increasingly undecided whether to buy the top of the range EDG series or opt for the cheaper Monarch HG. The Nikon Monarch HG, in fact, was presented in Italy by Nital, official distributor for Nikon, here in Italy, in July 2016. Over the years, in fact, I have had the opportunity to speak with some enthusiasts who own, in addition to use it for a short time during Binomania events.

For this reason, I decided to video review another example of Nikon Monarch HG 8×42, especially since it is a product located in an optimal price range for many enthusiasts.

It has a ten-year warranty and a list price which in February 2021 is 1250 euros, VAT INCLUDED.
Without taking anything away from what my collaborators wrote, let’s see how I found the HG… with hindsight.
