You all are always asking what items may be in our future. We along with most manufacturers tend to never let the cat out of the bag prior to product releases. Here Mike answers a few of the many questions we’ve received about future projects.

  1. My question is. Why is CMMG seem more dedicated to new conversions, updates and models vs backorders and shipping times. Don't get me wrong, you guys make an awesome product but if I have to wait five months plus what's the point???

  2. .22 TCM RDB, might be a viable option since straight blowback can separate case heads. .22 TCM9R can feed from the AR 9mm conversion magazines. Also, it would take a standard size AR bolt face, since the cartridge is a cut down 5.56 case.

  3. I just wish your 22LR barrels would fit sound suppressors. I had to return 2 of the 22lr barrel conversion kits. They would not shoulder the Silencer Co Suppressors I own. And there was no way I would use the washer spacers that you said would make them work. The threading on the barrels are like none I have ever seen.

  4. By way of example, motorcycle manufacturers let people know well in advance – sometimes years in advance – of new products coming out.

Still, CMMG makes AWESOME products, so if you want to keep them under wraps until their release, that's certainly your choice.

  5. I just want my Mk47 Banshee. I ordered it through The Silencer Shop in December last year. Yeah, I know that you’re seriously backlogged, I have a friend that’s a manufacturer and he can’t get the steels that he needs to make parts. But I do know from past experience that the wait will be worth it. I love my other 3 Banshees!

  6. Will you be integrating any 3rd party vendors into your firearms as an option? Such as a replacement trigger into Banshee?

I've asked this before, but how about a 6mm ARC in the Banshee?

How about a 460 Rowland in the Banshee?

I would love to see conversion kits to be able to use the AR15 lower platform and be able to shoot other calibers through.

As everyone else wants to know, what's the lead times for everything? I know, I know, hit up the website, which says 20+ weeks. /doh

  7. Step up to the plate.

Dare to accomplish what Palmetto State Armory could not – a CMMG variant of the ubiquitous MP5.

You already have the technology. Acquire the tooling and make the People proud!

    Stay classy my friends.
