Let’s talk about backpack guns! Everybody knows that putting tiny rifles in bags is cool. But realistically, under what circumstances could an Average Joe actually whip out a PDW and put it to use (without… you know, going to jail)? We’re diving into that topic today and also taking a detailed look at my personal backpack gun setup — an AR9 build carried in an Evergoods CPL 24.

  1. Ha ha ha ha ha Flamethrower / Flammenwerfer For when a mostly peaceful group of drug addicted psychopaths visit me… Leave now or in a bag…. a french fry bag… I have not fabricated one as of yet but I do believe in a minimal carry, edc, truck rifle and shotgun, answering the door protocol and firearm, and bedside gun.

  2. Due to my training, de-escalation has to be my first solution attempt. With the exception being that the perpetrator has put their hands on my person. Even then my defense can not be greater than necessary to stop the aggressor from doing myself or another person harm. De-escalation should be any reasonable persons first effort before resorting to hand to hand combat. Because you have no way of knowing it the aggressor is armed. In a life threatening situation. Go with your gut you know what is necessary.

  3. Yeah I mean I get it but personally Id rather just run an AR pistol at that point, the recoil is gonna be almost comparable and you step up to a much better round. I guess I don't see the reason for 9mm as a self defense round when it comes to a rifle setup. Still a cool ass gun and honestly if thats what you wanna do by all means do it, I just would do it differently and thats just fine.

  4. Yea lost me at 9mm which I love the caliber but if I’m packing a backpack gun it’s gotta be a riffle caliber and not my edc caliber. To each their own though. Thank you for the video

  5. I honestly thought you were going to say get a backpack Gun in case of an active shooter. Riots rarely lead to gun violence. Just my opinion. But it’s still a good video 👍🏾

  6. I carry a Banshee 300 9mm with a Rip-Brace. Found a plastic cereal container at my grocery store that fit the profile of my backpack. Tossed the lid, put in the container button and viola! – no printing, no muzzle-wear, clean draw.

For those that have the Glock 9mm mag version like I do – I have found the gun draws much nicer with a 17rnd mag in the well. I have 17s and 22/24s ready for reloads. The Glock 32s just don't feed reliably.

  7. Hi Chris, I think your idea is going to be useful for police detectives on high-risk assignments, intelligence operators in unfriendly areas, bodyguard teams. If I was to carry a gun in a backpack, it would be something that works on snakes, boars and small game, if I get lost in the wild. Some rifle – shotgun combo meant for survival, rather than combat.

  8. in the beginning, you say it's NOT an SBR
How are you NOT registering that gun as a "SBR" with that stock ?????
With that "STOCK" that gun becomes a SBR doesn't it ?
At the middle, you say you have a tax stamp…………Im Confused…………….Please explain

  9. This is probably and most informative video I have ever watched
Thank you for your advanced edicate and vocabulary in how to explain the life and vulnerability of carrying a long gun
Having a forward assist Brake on the front of the gun will help mitigate the sound compression (Concussion) on the ears
    best regards, Rick

  10. Even with all the violence & troubled times in the 2020s I really think a Backpack Gun, which is a compromised & modified chopped down rifle
in a bag on your back is kind of dumb and unnecessary.
Another way to make money for the gun industry? Could be. But a concealed or not handgun on the hip and READY is a much better option for self-defense out doors.

NOTE FBI Statics – CCW/CHP concealed shootings in the USA is less than 1% a year, yes it's "remote".
