He is attributing the need to return the scope with possible dodgy Philippine craftsmanship. His Leuopold scopes that he claims to love are supposedly "MADE IN THE USA" but that could just mean assembled in the USA with Philippino parts! XD

Not true. The etched reticle type aren't very accurate, but a true bullet drop compensator can work quite well if calibrated to the round and rifle.
I have a 270Win with a BDC scope on it. Extremely accurate. But I etched the ring for it after determining the trajectory of the bullet.
