You really like those CMC parts! I'll have to look into a build like this if parts prices ever come down.
I'm glad to know I'm not the only AR owner who also feels that the AR gap/rattle is a nuisance that does tend to cause distraction and hence accuracy down range. I once shot NRA Service Rifle comps and with sling pressure I can feel it moving my hold if I dont have a gap block installed.. If it feels wrong it will affect your skill!
Migrating to an ASR compatible muzzle device could be advantageous.

I always wonder why, a 10.5 in 223? No matter how sweet the build, and this one is sweet, so much is lost when you go short with a .223. Make that a 300 Black and you're on.
