  1. I guess the question I have is… Why would I buy this if I could have a 5.56 pistol and just get the CMMG 22lr conversion kit for dirt cheap. 2 for the price of 1. Most people arent shooting 22lr for competition and accuracy. Most are plinkers or going for 'minute of varmint' accuracy.

  2. They’re going to have a hard time selling these at 1,200 + usd, no matter how much lipstick you put on it. I’ll agree , it’s nice, but it’s still just a .22 in the end.

  3. For that SAME $1200, even at these highly inflated bullshit plandemic prices, I can easily build an AR with MULTIPLE dedicated uppers to swap out! Hell, even a case of mags to go with it!

  4. A couple years ago I built my cmmg 4.5 inch dedicated AR pistol with the cmmg barrel and bolt combo and then my own chosen additional parts including sightmark zombie red/green dot. It's one of my favorite AR pistols to shoot and friends and family I love shooting it as well.

  5. My "plastic" AR22 shoots everything I've ever put in it… Also has a functional bolt hold open.

…and I can buy 4 of them for what the CMMG cost.

No matter how hard you try to shill this, you cant make this toy worth what they are asking. 1200 bucks for a 22 is just stupid.

  6. Just got there 22 lr kit for the ar platform broke in after one mag had two failures to feed and one double feed then it ran well I know they recommend a specific type of ammo but I had to put the worst in it and see how it ran I put in the thunderbolt a blazer around CSi blazer ran great Mag dumps all day

  7. You forgot to really explain one of the most compelling features of this pistol. The lower is an actual, fully functional, mil spec AR-15 lower with buffer tube, recoil spring and buffer. The lower takes all aftermarket AR-15 parts; trigger, safety, mag release, bolt release, pins, springs, detents, etc. You can pop out the takedown pins, take off the upper and slap on an AR-15 upper in 223 / 556 / 300 BO / 458 Socom / 50 Beowulf etc. and it will function just fine. (You can't say that about the Smith & Wesson M&P 22 or the Tippmans). Vise versa you can take the upper off and then pop it onto any other AR-15 lower that you might already have. That way you can train with any of your other customized lowers while shooting cheap 22LR. Also you can buy just the upper from CMMG and slap it on any AR-15 lower build that you might have laying around. Keep in mind though that CMMG is a build to order company and due to the 2020 market they are backordered on uppers, lowers, barrels, and complete firearms and have an extremely long wait time.

  8. That looks like my va-15(binary) when I run the cmmg 22lr conversion. My funnest setup probably. It's feels like a badass bb gun until the louder bang. Why would we want some thing like this. Simple train cheaper, train your children, liberal friends of friends. It's has turned some democrats pro 2A

  9. Even though it’s a beautiful weapon I’m not interested in a pistol slash rifle I don’t like braces and my 15-22 takes care of my basic training needs for my kids as they have graduated to 556-223 they both love shooting.22
