It’s a mess here, but it’s a good mess. Lately I’ve been testing rifles, scopes, and ammo, and here’s a sneak peek.
1. The Savage 12FV Telekinesis rifle with its new 26″ .243 Winchester barrel from Preferred Barrel Blanks needed a little work. I cleared away material around the barrel and free-floated the tang, then I took it out to 300 yards for a Satterlee load test. The 87-grain VMAX hits could fit in the palm of my hand. Once I pick one standard load, I’ll be able to print tiny, tiny groups.
2. Need a precise, high-magnification scope with excellent optics and a Christmas tree reticle in the first focal plane? Take a close look at the Bushnell Match Pro, a 6-24x rifle scope with an illuminated MRAD Deploy reticle. It’s pretty much perfect.
2. The CMMG 5.7 Kit is a lot of fun, and I’ve tried three common factory loads. Accuracy is pretty darn good. And certain loads can not only punch through Level IIIa body armor, but it can do it from much longer distances than I expected.
3. On Saturday I’ll be on the Kilo 23 channel for an interview. This will not be broadcast live; watch for the video afterward.

Try some 90 grain Sierra game changers they shoot great out of every 243 I’ve loaded and I just ordered a preferred barrel blanks 260 Remington prefit glad you like it cause I took a chance on the barrel cause they seemed to know there stuff.

Bought a 1911 Remington last 4th of July weekend. 75 dollar rebate. After going around the block for 10 months I got the check today at 4:45 pm. It expires on May 8th. Today is May 8th. I'm glad you worked out all the Kinks you were having with the new Barrel hand scope setup. Just a little trick I've learned over the years after mounting a new Barrel in any type of a firearm that has a traditional stock. You take a dollar bill and cradle the bottom of your Barrel with it with your hands on both sides holding upward pressure against the dollar bill, Barrel and run it all the way down the barrel and it should clear completely of your stock to right in front of your chamber. That will tell you if you are completely free floated on a new-build or an old weapon that has possibly been exposed to moisture and has some swelling in the stock. Have a good one brother, Echo.
I like the banshee with 8in barrel your like the only one with my gun lol I'm trying to get a lower ordered so I can use the new mags as well. No one got the 8in. I don't know why cause literally no room at all on it with 5in handguard. Accuracy tests will require any ammo but the American eagle that ammo is terrible barely even cycles p90. You should check out buffman range and Jay from elite ammo there great guys and very educated on the 5.7.
