  1. Hi Kotaboy32
Can you tell us how much clearance there is for the take down pins? I would like to get this brace but I have timber creek pins and they stick out a little more than the stock ones.
Thank you for your great content.

  2. I checked. 260 is the best you will find this now. I got mine in early January along with 3k rounds of ammo when prices were GREAT!
I used blue Loctite on the castle nut threads. I whacked it tight with a drift.
You need a 17 degree pistol grip like the BCM MOD 3. I got a compact 17 degree REPTILIA grip for my chorty with this
brace. Best brace on the market for my needs.

  3. I saw the PDW and was blown away by the cool factor. I bought it for my 7.5 300BO pistol. Everyone that's seen my rig is so impressed by the whole setup. If I could do it again I would go with a regular stock and get the SBR stamp. It's cheaper to get the stamp than the PDW and I could use a verticle grip as a SBR it's just a better feel with the verticle grip. Nothing wrong with the PDW it's awesome but the comfort of a verticle is better to me.

  4. Hey I'm glad I found this video I'm interested and but strike Industries braced but just wondering what it'd hold up to a 300 Blackout or a 458 Socom and also what's the overall length of pool

  5. You are among the FEW that deploy this brace properly. Not even the SI salesmen at Shot Show do it properly. That is terrible!
You need to shift your grip slightly on the pistol grip and jamb you thumb UP on the release button, just as seen in this video. Resist the temptation to place your finger inside the trigger guard.
Tip!!: The release button can be VERY stiff. It is actually levered. So, place your thumb pad on the REAR LEADING EDGE of the button. Much, much easier effort to release the brace. I LOVE mine!!!

  6. Optics Planet has the worst customer service and terrible shipping, I wish all the guntubers would stop promoting these assclowns, optics planet is not the best place to shop and they dont have good pricing.

  7. I saw this review about 2 weeks ago and just got mine last weekend from big daddy unlimited and I love it! Now I just have to figure out where to sell my SBPDW brace lol
