How will the 2021 assault weapons ban will make all Ar 15 parts illegal? The assault weapons ban of 2021 will go far beyond the1994 assault weapons ban. All Ar 15 component parts will be considered illegal to posses or manufacture as the definition of assault weapon will expand to include any combination of parts used to assemble an Ar 15 even if those parts do not fully assemble an ar 15. Just as an auto sear is considered a machine gun, a threaded barrel, collapsable stock, pistol grip and handguard would be considered an assault weapon. It is also likely that the upper and lower receiver will be considered an assault weapon and will not be able to be manufactured.

And it is our duty to ignore any laws passed by this administration! It is a fraudulent admin for one, and all gun laws every single one of the 21,000 + on the books are absolutely unconstitutional period!!
If the Senate filibuster remains in force, Feinstein's bill will never pass.
If her bill is adopted into law, there will be no way to enforce those provisions pertaining to receivers per se.
Note that Feinstein's bill does have a grandfather clause. Thus, one could claim the weapon was built before the ban went into effect. And, therefore, the finished AR-15 would not be illegal because it would be grandfathered in under Feinstein's legislation.
However, if the ATF does interpret that the various other parts of the AR-15 do constitute an assault weapon, it might be a good idea to buy those parts before the ban goes into effect.
Personally, I don't believe Feinstein's bill has any chance of passing. She has been sponsoring similar bills for years.

The Walk-Arounds were added in the first AWB because it would not pass without them. If she could have taken the AR from the public she would have. I bought my first AR just prior to the first AWB. Most gun owners did not have an AR.
