  1. I just wanted something to slip in my pocket in the evenings that put out a bright white light (edc) and less than $50. As of mid-2019, it was a good purchase.

  2. Excellent, succinct review. I own a Streamlight (Protac 2AA) that uses a very similar control system. I have never warmed up to that system and prefer the Thrunite line of flashlights, "they connect with me" (as you often say). That said, I can see using the Polytac X as a shotgun's weapon light and will probably purchase one for that purpose.

  3. I think I'll stick w/ my Olight S2R baton ( gets a ruler smack to the knuckles)

  4. I have a TLR-6 on my Glock, and I've been impressed. I've been looking into picking up one of their flashlights for EDC. Do you have any experience with the Microstream?
