I was intending on doing a follow up to my G45 “first look” video with a range trip visit and show the differences between the G45 and the G33 behind an EXPS @ 50 and 100 yards. Unfortunately, the weather hasn’t been too cooperative and no shortage of rain and cold on the weekends. So my follow up video is slipping time wise.
Since someone asked about comparing the two magnifiers I decided to take a video I did about a week or more ago with a G33 and G45 both mounted on the same rail behind the EXPS (on change is the magnifier) and add a more side by side comparison without the picatinny/EXPS mount and put that segment first.
So, here are the G33 and G45 side by side and then mounted. Next video, weekend weather cooperating, will be both magnifiers at the range.

g45 being shorter will make it a little bit more difficult on the eye box
Thanks for the details. I am working with the Unity FAST mount for the G33 and was checking to see if the G45 would work.
It looks like it wouldn’t work without significant Gunsmithing to the FAST mount…

Thanks for part 2. Eagerly waiting to actually seeing the 5x and how the Donut of D handles that much magnification. I tried a Juliet 6 and the 1 Moa dots in the center looked terrible with that magnifier.
